Why should people attend WFPICCS?

A tremendous opportunity to meet with colleagues around the world and share successes in personal and professional lives, a time to meet leaders in the discipline of PCCM, a time to learn of the latest scientific breakthroughs in the discipline, visit with friends, develop collaborations, enjoy great hospitality in Singapore.

What are your top session picks?

It’s difficult to choose – I always enjoy all the plenaries, of course the sepsis sessions because of its global importance.

Andrew Argent, South Africa

Why should people attend WFPICCS?

Many reasons! a) they will meet a remarkable array of people from around the world and b) have the opportunity to share in a richly diverse experience of pediatric critical care.  My own understanding of the issues in Pediatric critical care has been profoundly altered by what I have learnt and heard at these world congresses.  They really are unique events. Different to many regional events, and very powerful in their impact.  c) there is a very rich and diverse program which gives virtually everyone the opportunity to explore modern trends in some detail in addition to expanding on many of the controversial and challenging aspects of our work.

What are your top session picks?

My sense is that there are at least 3 picks (probably many more) that will be exciting for virtually anyone in the field of pediatric critical care.
